baby bed and use the ends combined to form a headboard for their little

The bed above is for one wonderful customer who is confined to a
wheelchair. He needed a specific height as well as one side to have a
lip higher so when he lifted and slid onto the bed he did not push the
special pad off the other side. His side of the bed had the platform
flush the top of the side rail with a total height of 21 inches. The
bed was done from pine to help with the cost but because pine is soft
and his wheelchair would tend to hit it and bang it up after a while he
decided to do his side from oak to whether the extra stress of use.

In addition the special Vita-Mat pad they had bought was not wide
enough to cover the entire surface so a 1 in thick x 6 in wide filler was
needed to make the area level for their top mattress topper to sit on.
They were pleased with the final results.

Rockwell, the Golden Retriever) is absolutely thrilled with it. The
wood and stain color are beautiful. Above all, the craftsmanship is
superior. The doors slide like butter and overall, the piece is so
