We have a lot of nice scrap pieces averaging in length 8 to 14 inches of
various woods predominantly pine but can include hardwoods. We are
boxing this and will sell it at $.30 per lb. We include maple, oak, ash,
polar, and mahogany as well as pine. All untreated and burn hot and
keep your chimney clean.
Some would also make good craft project pieces. Just let us know
what you would like and we will box it up and send it. I will add some
photos below to show the types of pieces we get.
If you order a 50# box it will be $.20 per lb., plus shipping which would
be ground so your actual cost would be the wood cost plus shipping
then divide it by how many pounds of wood.
We do not make a profit off shipping but thought we enjoy using this
scrap to start our fireplace and it gets more than we can use.
A friend suggested we should sell it to recoup some of our loss.

A large box of our normal regular scrap wood weighs 50 lbs,
will. That means it will take a couple more pieces to start the fire -
