We try to accommodate custom orders for platform beds and we make
minor adjustments to our platform beds at little or no cost. We offer an
elevated platform bed for storage use.
You choose the color of stain or paint. We do the work. We are willing to
try to match any already existing piece of furniture. We can usually get
pretty close. Available in all sizes, king, queen, full, twin and Full and twin
extra long. This depends on our schedule at the time.
We stand behind our Platform beds and will replace any piece if it should
ever break or become damaged.
We ship within the USA and within some South Carolina areas we can
make deliveries and allow pickups. Pickups may result in tax being
charged. You are welcome to contact us.

The "estimate" completion date is the approximate date the
order is expected. Sometimes the "actual" completion date
varies from the "estimated" completion date. We will do
everything we can do to try and get your order in timely manner,
however, we will not rush the build and finish process, we want
you furniture to be built with the highest possible craftsmanship
available. The normal completion date before shipping runs
around 8-16 weeks. We do not guarantee a shipping date,

now with the gasoline prices going up it may mean a higher %.

Extra Slats- will add around 20 to 30 dollars to shipping
depending on bed size.

are worth it. The cost is less if you choose the bed
without a headboard. On coastal areas we can ship to
Seattle and it can go by boat to places like Kodiak Island
or Juno, AK. We shipped a Queen Cottage without a
Headboard to Hawaii for 200.00.

We realize that in all relationships from time to time there are
problems. So it is in business also. We are a small family
operated business and hope that you keep this in mind, that
once ordered, we purchase the lumber to make your products
and cut it right away to the dimension for your bed. We do not
do a cancellations.
Returns DUE TO DAMAGE for exchange ONLY must be within 30
days of delivery. Shipping and handling charges are not
refundable. All returns must be in original packaging, unused
and in resalable condition.
SHIPPING DAMAGE:
It is extremely important to inspect any damage that is evident.
Holes, dents, tears, etc., should be noted on the box and noted
on paper if driver is present when delivered. The box needs to
be saved and pictures taken of any damage. We need to be
notified immediately in order to place a claim in your behalf. Time
lapses make it extremely difficult to make a claim. Either email us
or call. Notification should be within 7 days of receipt. This holds
also for mistakes in delivery( wrong product ).

You must request and use our shipping label to return
merchandise.

non-cancellable after three days of the original order date.
All work is custom. All the normal warranties apply. Furniture
returns: restocking fee of 50% applies, return packing and
shipping is the sole responsibility of the customer, balance of
refund will be issued when the furniture is subsequently sold,
the sales price determining the final amount of refund. If a
customer is unable to pay a balance on the custom order after
90 days of notice that the bed is ready then we will consider the
contract in default and no refund of the deposit will be issued.
Account must be paid in full before the 90 days are up .
Every effort is made to accommodate specific delivery date
requests, however we are unable to guarantee a specific
shipping date. No piece will be shipped prior to the finish being
cured sufficiently that packaging or wrapping will not cause
damage.
As for an order that is finished and ready to ship ,we give
notice that the bed is finishing and normally take the final
payment but we will allow 60 to 90 days for final payment after
notification of readiness, depending on balance owed. After that
length of time we reserve the right to sell the item. We have
labor and material tied up in our product and depend on the
turnaround for our livelihood.
We reserve the right to cancel any order for any reason. If
Cancelled,all funds, if any, that have been charged will be
refunded.
Our Privacy Policy
Finnwood Designs is the sole owner of the information collected
on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you
voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We
will not sell or rent this information to anyone. We will use your
information to respond to you regarding the reason you
contacted us. We will not share your information with any third
party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to
fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order. Unless you ask us not
to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about
specials, new products or services. You may request that we
not contact you in the future.
