Services We Provide
We try to accommodate custom orders for platform beds and we
make minor adjustments to our platform beds at little or no cost. We
offer an elevated platform bed for storage use.

You choose the color of stain or paint. We do the work. We are willing
to try to match any already existing piece of furniture. We can
usually get pretty close. Available in all sizes, king, queen, full, twin
and twin extra long. This depends on our schedule at the time.

We stand behind our Platform beds  and will replace any piece if it
should ever break or become damaged.  

We ship within the USA and within some South  Carolina  areas we
can make deliveries. You are welcome to contact us.

QUOTES: When we give a quote it is good for 4 months. As our
lumber prices change sometimes we have to make changes.

Gas Prices > As gas prices continue to climb we are expecting an
increase in shipping. We will not increase until they do.

SHIPPING TIME: Please read:
Since our work is custom the time for shipping is not like you
are buying a ready made bed
. We normally run about 8 to 12
weeks . We stay quite busy most of the time. We hope that
because it is a custom bed you will find it well worth the wait.

We have researched and most all other companies that do
custom beds say
 a year, so we  hope that  even if we  seem a
bit slow when a bed  is ordered we hope you will be patient
with our time schedule.
We have never failed to ship a bed.
We do not guarantee a shipping date,
we only try to do our
best to ship in a timely manner. We do not want to compromise
quality for speed. Remember each is done custom and we are
usually working on several beds at the same time.
Please check
with us as to our time line in current shipping as it varies from
month to month and remember that is an estimate.

The beds are worth the wait and we greatly appreciate your
patience.
SHIPPING COST ESTIMATES:
We ship our beds via FedEx or DHL. We do not charge
handling fees. We feel the shipping is too high already and we
try to compensate by keeping our prices affordable for the
beds.  The new 2008 shipping prices are up about 5 %
 

Arrangements can be made for pickup.

The
Height influences the shipping cost . So remember when
ordering
if you increase the height it is likely going to increase
the cost of shipping.

Extra Slats-
 will add around 20 to 30 dollars to shipping
depending on bed size.
Shipping Outside the Contiguous states:

We have shipped to Hawaii, and  to Alaska. The shipping is  expensive
but many feel the beds are worth it. The cost is less if you choose the
bed without a headboard. On coastal areas we can ship to Seattle and it
can go by boat to  places like Kodiak Island or Juno, AK.
We shipped a Queen Cottage without a Headboard  to Hawaii for   
$165.00. We can ship to Alaska by air for 165.00.
Services
Refunds and Cancellations and Policies:

We realize that in all relationships from time to time there are problems.
So it is in business also. We are a small family operated business with
only 2 people working on our bed orders and hope that you keep this in
mind, that once ordered, we  purchase the lumber to make your products
 and cut it right away to the dimension for your bed.
We can not do a
cancellation once we have purchased material and cut it.

We will only do a refund as a last resort after trying to resolve a problem
that is a result of our mistake on an order etc.
We reserve the right to 30
days
to resolve any issues before issuing a refund. (e.g. Damaged bed)
We WILL NOT do a refund after we have purchased the wood and started
cutting.

Returns for exchange ONLY must be within 30 days of purchase. Shipping
and handling charges are not refundable.
All returns must be in original
packaging, unused and in resalable condition.

All returns may be subject to a 10% restocking fee and merchandise
must be shipped to us prepaid.

SHIPPING DAMAGE:

I
t is extremely important to inspect any  damage that is evident. Holes,
dents, tears, etc., should be noted on the box and noted on paper if
driver is present when delivered. The box needs to be saved and pictures
taken of any damage.  We need to be notified immediately in order to
place a claim in your behalf. Time lapses make it extremely difficult to
make a claim. Either email us or call. Notification should be within 7 days
of receipt. This holds also for mistakes in delivery( wrong product ).

RETURNING DAMAGED ITEMS FOR EXCHANGE:

You must request and use our shipping label to return
merchandise.


Our Privacy Policy
Finnwood Designs is the sole owner of the information
collected on this site. We only have access to/collect
information that you voluntarily give us via email or other
direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this
information to anyone. We will use your information to
respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us. We will
not share your information with any third party outside of our
organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request,
e.g. to ship an order. Unless you ask us not to, we may contact
you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new
products or services. If you feel we are not abiding by this
